This week Empire Z are emphasizing the necessity of reading, believing that less and less of the younger generation utilize the written word to learn, favoring to listen rather than read. Bing Zou, the managing director, recently stated:

He is adamant that while listening is a valuable way of gaining knowledge, young millennials are easily distracted. However, it has been proven that reading requires far more concentration and has been reported to increase information retention over listening. Bing Zou wants his workforce to use books to learn but also use their time reading to improve their levels of concentration. Empire Z make it clear to their new recruits that their sales role requires the upmost levels of focus and concentration in order to maximize their results and are confident that by setting their workforce reading tasks they will help to nurture this trait within each of their representatives.

Having read each of these books, Bing Zou is certain that his workforce will enjoy each read but also learn a lot about how business works.
